Unfortunately, the location was quite remote, making it difficult to access public transport without relying on the shuttle service or rideshare options. The timing and arrangements for the shuttle were unclear, as I had to coordinate with staff to set up departures, unlike what I anticipated based on the website. Also, I was disappointed that there were no additional public onsen options to explore, as I was expecting a more authentic ryokan experience.

Enjoyed the massage chair after a long day exploring. The dinner was a highlight, featuring beautifully presented kaiseki dishes that delighted my palate. Breakfast options included both Japanese and Western foods, providing a delightful start to the day. However, locating the shuttle bus stop was quite challenging, which caused frustration upon arriving. Also, the food at the buffet breakfast lacked variety after a few days, missing some excitement. These issues detracted from an otherwise splendid experience.

Consider booking a traditional tatami room for an authentic experience, and don’t miss the kaiseki dinner, beautifully presented and delicious.

I found the dinner served in the restaurant rather than our room a bit disappointing. However, the quality of each dish was exceptional, and the presentation was beautiful. The surrounding scenery was peaceful, making it ideal for relaxation, although the public areas felt a tad older.
